Tinnitus Association of canada is a registered non-profit organization, which aims to provide information about tinnitus to every Canadian who suffers from this disorder. The focus of this project was to re-branding and re-positioning its identity. Because tinnitus disturbs one’s daily life with extra noises, I hoped to create a similar atmosphere in the information booklet but through visual elements. The scribbled line, distracts the visual flow of the viewer, generating a sense of frustration and anxiety. Also, the photographs in the booklet takes the viewer through a person’s ordinary daily life and yet, are visually blocked by harsh scribbles/noises. The pages were placed in a cluster to generate tension and simulate the feelings that a tinnitus patients experience on a daily basis. As for posters, I capture a quiet moment in people’s lives and by adding scribbled lines, viewers are prevented from enjoying the beautiful moment to the fullest. |
